3T walk-in-bore MRI

The planned 3 Tesla walk-in-bore MRI system is being designed with space for participants to stand and perform exercise inside the scanner. This will enable research into the body during movement and physical loading.
Its higher magnetic field strength offers greater signal sensitivity, supporting fast imaging and the detection of metabolites to study muscle metabolism alongside movement.
